I have been working at McDonald's full-time (More than a year)
This position doesn't require a lot of technical maintenance skills. If you know how to work a socket wrench and apply common sense, you can do this job. Most of the job focuses on cleaning and janitorial duties. McDonald's also offers good benefits, such as free food days (not McDonald's food), free meals, free uniforms, 6-month evaluations/raises (if they remember), and healthcare. Also for the maintenance position, they're pretty flexible with your schedule, within reason.
They say that the pay is competitive but in reality, it's on the low side compared to other stores/companies. The higher-ups can get pretty stressed out and stress everyone else out as a result, but that's typical in any workplace, especially fast food.
Advice to Management
Keep your cool and try to stay relaxed. Don't unload your stress onto other people. Everything will go much more smoothly if you do that.
