I have been working at McDonald's part-time (less than an year)Pros
-my paycheck never bounced.
-flexibility on scheduleCons
-having a $3 budget on the food we can get per day.
-owner wasn't involved and didn't care about us.
-unfair pay on holidays.
-being harassed by another crew member in front of multiple managers and the girl never being talked to or fired.
-lack of hours they give, the most I ever got was 13 hours a week.
-not the kind of job you can be at for more then a year.
-managers set the rules for us and break them themselves.
-we had 6-7 managers who told you want to do and everyone was on a different page, 1 told me to clean the lobby and the other yelled at me to stock the sauces. Way to many managers and just wasn't needed.
-they hire to many people this is why we have little to NO hours.Advice to ManagementAdvice
if you are an owner act like one and act like you care about your staff. Don't just pay us $1 more on thanksgiving & Christmas. When your staff is being harassed by another employee and you see it happen every day why don't you do something about it? Stop sending us home after only 1 hour worked.Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo opinion of CEO
