I worked at McDonald's part-time (More than a year)
Camraderie and team bonding was huge, can't count how many times we would go to each other's houses, or have a beach day, or even one of the managers would take us out to eat. You live for those moments on dinner rush when everyone in the store is on point and on the zone, its like everyone is mind reading everyone else.
It's the busiest restaurant in the world. you will get slammed with customers, you will have rude customers, and some REALLY weird experiences, especially in drive through, and god help you if you run out of anything, especially burgers. I had to have my register pulled when i went on break because money would come up short at end of shift if i left it.
Advice to Management
Utilize employee recommendations more, get a better system for tracking registers and cash flow, and open up the back of the stores, it can get crowded on supply day
