    I have been working at MeadWestvaco


    Used to be a stable company. Most segments are not highly cyclical. MWV is a key player in most markets that they serve.


    Corporate vision lacking since the Mead - Westvaco merger. Still trying to figure out what we are going to be. Steady anouncement of plants closing lead to rumors multiplying.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Statements from senior management do not match up with actions at the division level. Senior management needs to make their own decsions with respect to their strategy, and not react to Wall Street criticism.
