I worked at Medcor full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Corporate office staffed by mostly good, caring people. Wellness is definitely a focus, culture encourages healthy living. Contests, theme activities help encourage socializing between departments.

    Cons

Unfortunately, pay and advancement opportunities depend entirely on who you know, not what you know. Owners/executives employ family and kids friends, frat brothers, etc. if you're not part of this inside circle, pay is definitely not comparable to industry mean. Culture tends toward sticking around until a better opportunity comes along.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay attention! Office is filled with talented people with good ideas, but no way to share them. Owners simply won't let go of the old ways.
