    I worked at Medical Management International

    Pros

    good for entry level into veterinary medicine. Veterinarians are given great compensation in both salary and perks. Even poor quality DVM canidates are given oppertunity to practice medicine.

    Cons

    Management allows the DVM to be dictators and manage hospitals with little or no experience. many of the the DVMs in the market are not actually doing the work that they say they are doing, but rather have the team members completing the treatments and records. This organization does not hire the best people in the field for support team, but rather want to train those that come from other industries. There are few licensed Techs working for Banfield. Banfield allows team members to perform treatments and services on pets without any formal training or licensing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Careful attention to the character and ethics of the DVMs. Train DVMs in good management and hold them accountable for bad treatment of team members. Treat the team members with more respect and understand their value.
