I have been working at Meraki full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Meraki sales team has a fairly positive morale. Unlike many sales jobs I've had, I look forward to going to work every day. There is a lot of opportunity to move up. The fast growth makes it exciting and opens a lot of doors for promotions. They tend to promote from within as well. Catered lunches daily. Benefits are fantastic. The office is beautiful.

    Cons

The location of the office is convenient in Mission Bay, but there are not a lot of places to go for food/drink, unless you walk ~1 mile. Do-able, but not as convenient and fun as some places in the city.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Salaries are 20-25% lower than other companies offer in SF. To continue attracting and retaining talent, you may consider increasing the pay for the sales team, or at least offering more raises. I have been here for 2 years, and have never received a raise. So far the positive aspects of the job keep me here, but I am constantly tempted to consider other opportunities based on increased pay. I took a huge pay cut to come to Meraki, but I'm hopeful it will be worth it in the end, since we have many opportunities for advancement, both within Meraki and Cisco.
