I have been working at Mercer Health & Benefits full-time (More than a year)
Coworkers who are incredibly smart, nice people. Great camaraderie and lots of humor. Flexible about blending remote and office work.
Insane levels of stress due to poor management planning of resources needed for projects and timing thereof. Every project underfunded and behind schedule because management gets project approved from client by underestimating how long it'll take and how much it'll cost. But because schedule and budget targets are established, everyone is then held accountable for meeting them, no matter how unrealistic. Virtually everyone I know well enough to hear their honest opinion/desire says they want to get out as soon as possible. Employer contribution to benefits much too stingy for this industry.
Advice to Management
Stop pushing projects that are promised to work miracles with miniscule budges. Start realizing that your high turnover is not just coincidence.
