    I worked at Mercer

    Pros

    good pay for entry level position
    good position for launchpad to new employment (communication/customer service skills are sought after)
    global company that is "sort of known"
    good hours with option for overtime
    coworkers are great!!!!
    Its a job
    training is paid

    Cons

    individuals working (in regards to this position are almost all temps so the turnover rate is high because of the fact that you can be terminated at any momen
    management is horrible (surprised this place runs) and not the most professinal individuals
    you are just a number!!!!!!!! do not be fooled
    As good as your statistics
    no real appreciation from managing individuals
    the hardware used is for the most part a decade old

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Some of the individuals go by unnoticed that would suit perfectly for a promotion, find those people and promote them because Mercer is kucky to have them. Dont base everything on stats!!!!theres more to people than that!! It is not the best way to find talent. Lastly, how bout showing some more apppreciation, consolidate management. Some parts of training works but a lot of it is a waste of time, find a better way to train individuals
