I worked at Merrill Lynch full-time (More than 5 years)

They work in small teams so if you get a great team you'll love the job. They want you to succeed and will do what's necessary to get you there. A lot of team building outside of company hours.

Not much room for growth. Even admins have to pass the series 7. Very competitive environment. Lower level employees have to stick around even after the stock market has closed.

    Advice to Management

There should be better options to move up within the company, most employees had to leave the company and work elsewhere in order to get a position they were qualified for at Merill Lynch.
