I have been working at Merrill Lynch as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

The office environment was very friendly especially considering I was a intern. Everyone was very helpful when I had trouble with certain data analysis and file organization. The internship was over the summer and I had additional summer courses to attend along with the internship and the office was very catering to my school schedule.

    Cons

I honestly do not see upward mobility in terms of career expansion solely due to the fact that it is in a very suburban area that would make it difficult for entry financial advisors to build up a strong clientele

    Advice to Management

Management was very nice but some upper-level employees were never present during certain days of the week which is understandable since it is wealth management in a suburb but it does make the office look empty in the eyes of an intern.
