I worked at Metro Systems (VA) full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good training at the beginning, some good people to work with.

    Cons

The management team expects a certain number/goal from you everyday and quarterly. The company goal also needs to be met. Goal-oriented structures are fine; however, because of this number system, people are in and out continuously. The people that work there are wolves. You're thrown into a pack of wolves. People will take your candidates - although you have been repeatedly calling the same person over and over, these people will steal them from you and get the start and take the money. This has happened numerous times. Once you leave the company, you are sure to be talked about - negatively. Whether you move on for the better, was let go, or just quit, everyone will talk about you behind your back. Not sure if this is because all these young, recent-college students have low self-esteem, have nothing else to talk about, or they know that this company sucks and they will go through the same thing. If you want to be sucked into their structure/way of things for no money, take this job. If you're smarter than that, stay away. The commission structure is all BS. You barely make anything off getting placements.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop talking badly about your former employees. You were the ones that hired them in the first place. Stop setting a bad example.
