I worked at Michaels Stores full-time

Getting to know some good employees and there hard work and contributions.

Senior leadership does not communicate well changes. Only care about the bottom line, performance, and yearly bonus. Work life balance for a supervisor is horrible 12 plus hours a day peak season and sometimes off season sometimes having to work 7 days a week and if you are on second shift well you might as well not have a family. There are other leaders in the warehouse that have been their ages that do not contribute to company and are just there to collect a pay check.

    Advice to Management

Better strategizing is needed and communication. Leaders that have been there 10 plus years and are not contributing need to be terminated. Work life balance needs to be taken into consideration. Just because you are salary does not mean that you are a slave and there is life after work.
