I have been working at Midwest-CBK full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The product is beautiful and company provides catalogs and gorgeous showrooms to help you sell. Co-workers are great and the managers try to make things more fun. Midwest and CBK both had great reputations but the merge and subsequent changes in ownership has changed the culture completely. In my opinion this is a great "first" job and could still be good if you don't need to make more than $50,000 per year. There are health benefits and mileage paid. Less pressure than other companies in the gift business. Staying because I'm hoping it all gets much better!

    Cons

Lower pay scale. Everything else is about the same as working for other gift companies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When your sales reps are not the highest paid in the industry there should be other perks that make them want to stay.
