I have been working at Milwaukee Bucks full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Eligible for life, health, dental, and vision insurance benefits after 30 days, and eligible for 401K after 6 months.

    Cons

Surrounded by 23 very immature counterparts in the noisiest, most unprofessional environment with a lack of supervision, lack of training, the entire department forced to eat unhealthy fast-food on weekday game nights while all other departments get to choose from healthier catered food in the dining room, our department does not get to eat at all on Saturday and Sunday game days while other departments have access to the dining room food, commission structure is pathetic, sales goals are unrealistic and include a group sales goal in spite of there being a separate department for this purpose with a stronghold on varies sales categories, there is virtually no room for advancement as new management has brought in family and friends for newly created positions which are never advertised to current employees, the city shows little support for the organization as evidenced by their lack of desire to purchase anything over the phone, interns receive better perks in the form of branded merchandise, we are viewed as extra bodies to be used in the most unnecessary roles on game days, the company has only had a legitimate b hiring department since November, certain relatives of higher ups think it's okay to put their coats and other personal items at the table of paying high profile guests inside the exclusive club area, and I could go on but frankly it's game day and I have to go stand outside in the cold and tell people the obvious "step inside the doors in order to get your ticket scanned!"
