I have been working at Milwaukee Tool

    Pros

Fun working with tools and around the clock and traveling on your own time

    Cons

Management will lie, cheat and steal in order to keep their bonus. they have diverted many bullets intended for their poor management decisions and placed on the hard working individuals that actually get the work done. More troops keep lining up in order to join the ranks but good talent does not stay. Not a place for people with families if you are not getting a bonus.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Share your bonus plan with ALL so that everyone is working for the same cause. That way the lies will become evident and the poor managers will be flushed. The new kids are still oblivious to what's going on and wet behind the ears. A few parties and they think all is good. After you have seen a lot of good talent get cut and poor managers remain it becomes evident that some of the managers have deep hooks into Richman's nuts that he is afraid to make the right decisions and the loyalty runs deep. If your not getting a bonus - chances are you are getting lied to. Its not a place of equality and decisions made for the benefit of the end users. it is a marketing company that has bent its core values to mirror the throw away market of home depot. Change your target audience from a 25 yr old to a 45 yr old professional that knows what tools are required to do the job instead an emotional 25 yr old that still lives with his parents. Quit hiring marketing people right out of school that don't know what a power tool is.
