    Pros

Very friendly work environment. Lots of areas to dive in and make splash. High average employee tenure makes for a strong sense of stability. Decent benefits (minus the vacation policy).

    Cons

Rapid growth by acquisitions = a messy IT infrastructure. I hear "we'll get around to that eventually" quite a bit. Sr IT/IS leadership is trying to cling on to their system engineer glory days and prove they are the smartest guy in the room vs trusting the engineers actually running the environment. IT policies that suggest zero trust in their users. Vacation policy is less than desirable. Very low turnover with high average employee tenure makes it feel a little tough to build relationships. Tough org chart to navigate and get your head wrapped around.

    Advice to Management

Honestly haven't been here long enough to make an intelligent comment. Just in the IS/IT group we need stronger support and buy-in for smarter, effective policies. Buying expensive tools that aren't implemented properly is a waste of money as well.
