    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Moma full-time (More than 5 years)

Great collection; financial resources available for ambitious projects; a number of dedicated and professional colleagues.

Negative atmosphere. Teamwork is rare among curatorial colleagues. Despite abundant resources, proportionally little time and money allocated towards research or furthering the mission. Emphasis is on raising the profile(s) of a few key players. Poor hiring decisions (it's who you know, not what you know) that then burden and demoralize the qualified staff members. Unaddressed sexism. Indifferent and irresponsible HR department.

    Advice to Management

Give all managers basic training such as how to motivate employees, how to build a team, how to give feedback, how to appropriately challenge staff, what constitutes sexism, etc. The board should consider restructuring upper level management.
