    You learn to think on your toes. Great experience if you're able to hang in there and roll with the punches.

    Cons

    Senior management treats staff poorly. Dirty politics. High risk caseloads with minimal support.

    Don't play dirty. Be transparent with your employees and treat everyone equally. If you're dissatisfied with an employee or their performance, find a respectful way to address the issue with them in private.
