    Pros

Not many pros of working at Monster. The only pro for me was that it was in in the city of san Francisco, so I could drive there.

    Cons

On day one, the IT department gave me a used computer from someone they fired in the previous week. It was from 2010 and it was 2014. It was very embarrassing. I asked if I could get a pair of headphones to wear at my desk, and they told me to buy them on eBay bc it was cheaper than employee price. I purchased some on eBay and they broke after 2 weeks. I worked closely with the sales team and Im not sure if they actually sold anything. Sales went down almost 90% since 2010. The Sales Team revised the annual budget over 100x and make it lower and lower every month. I sat through many investor meetings and no one wants the place. It is like putting your money in a penny stock, very similar to the wolf of wallstreet movie. All the senior execs got free stock in the company and they loose it if they leave. So you are stuck with them forever. I have never worked at a company where qualifications mean nothing. You can have a MBA and your boss could have a GED and you take orders from them on strategy. Most of the senior management went to Jr. College and have the qualifications to run a sears store.

    Advice to Management

Have everyone re-apply for their position. None of the EC can get a VP job anywhere else. How can you have the CFO be in charge of GAAP from USA if they are not even a US citizen. The brand name is good but keeps going down. When is the last time management sat down and gave their worker bees a raise or evaluation. Even when I worked at Subway I got a raise every 6 months. At monster your salary is set for life. If you beg you might get a $500 spot bonus after you make the company $1,000,000 or more.
