I worked at MorphoTrust USA as a contractor (more than an year)Pros
According to Hoover's D&B Revenue & Financial, privately held MorphoTrust is EPS neutral, which means it is now just breaking even. See the cut&paste in the Cons section below. EPS neutral means NO profit & NO loss. Former publicly traded companies(L1-ID, Identix, Visionix, Digital Biometric) combined in this MorphoTrust amalgam were EPS negative, based on S&P reports that just about every stock broker provides these days. And EPS negative means quarterly losses and negative cash flow.
In my experience, this meant low morale, as there was constant turn-over and lay-offs, and so unless you are well-connected with middle or higher management don't expect longevity out of this company that is not financially stable enough to provide longevity to most of its rank and file. As a new hire, you must expect to continually work at high levels of performance with no rewards financially or otherwise intangibly.
Most of the MorphTrust marketing folks I knew constantly complained that the Federal and state customers had the leverage to force price concessions to the point where MorphoTrust could not generate enough income to cover its expenses. So until such time as this situation changes, don't expect a trend of consistently increasing EPS that characterizes a growth company to materialize.
Because of the Federal and state price leverage, former high level management(Bob La Penta) took the strategy of consolidating all the former biometric companies into this amalgam with the ultimate intent of selling off the amalgam to some other company, and this is what happened when Safran SA of France acquired this amalgam.Cons
