Good benefits, when they aren't taking them away due to the economy. Very good health insurance coverage. Usually regular raises every year. Ability to work remotely is extremely nice.
Management is extremely incompetent. Very little leadership from middle level VPs and management. Performance Management reviews each year are based on a curve, so there will ALWAYS be employees graded on the low end of the scale even if unwarranted.
Advice to Management
Provide greater flexibility for employees to do their jobs and stop getting in the way because of a "process" or other intangible reason. Promote managers who are willing to listen to their employees suggestions and then IMPLEMENT suggestions.
