    I have been working at Musick Peeler & Garrett full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Some people here are genuinely enjoyable to work with. I suppose that could be said of almost any place.

    Cons

    As some of the other reviews here indicate, the firm does lie about the reason for layoffs. For economic layoffs, they will cite performance so as to put the blame on the poor associates rather than on itself. Poor management, garnering of business, unhealthy economy are the real reasons.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be more truthful about why you let people go. There also need to be more cohesiveness within departments. People who treat others badly, people who are rude, should be spoken to. It's highly detrimental to the work environment to have sour apples in the group.
