Good Pay, Good Morale for Driver's and Counter sales, Bad Morale for Managers

Former Employee - Assistant Store Manager  in  Birmingham, AL
Former Employee - Assistant Store Manager in Birmingham, AL

I worked at NAPA Auto Parts full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Good pay and fair work load for Delivery Drivers and Counter Sales staff. Work and hours are predictable. Store employees are friendly as are most customers.

    Cons

Management is stressed and under a lot of pressure to meet sales goals each month. Politics and policies with upper management bring down my review a notch. Corporate needs to support store employees more when dealing with customer complaints. The customer isn't always right.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more attention to complaints from store employees.
