Good hours, minimal mandatory overtime, stay busy all day, always on your feet.
Mandatory overtime issued same day, verbal salary raises that never happen, lack of transparency with salaries and promotions, lack of trust with managers, unsafe environment, management relies too heavily on the output of their workers instead of trying to improve the work environment and some safety protocols not followed, too many leaders, friends get promoted, social gatherings have been taken away due to the improper conduct of management.
Advice to Management
Take time to listen to employees concerns on how to fix the work environment. Create daily/weekly/monthly objectives to meet and exceed, instead of treating everyday like business is normal. Treat every day as if OSHA or another agency is coming to inspect the warehouse and maybe the environment will improve so that employees can improve themselves and the flow of work can increase. Everyones opinion should matter.
