I have been working at NARS Cosmetics full-time (Less than a year)
Nars product is amazing! This makeup is completely different from any other brand out there!
NO COMMUNICATION!!! I've never worked for a company who is basically setting you up to fail! I've been at counter for a small amount of time and have been successful because of my hard work! I've been notified of events , master classes, facial events days before not weeks or months. Which makes me work twice as hard to be successful. My coordinator does not call, email, or show up EVER! I only see him on events! No one follows up with me to check on appointments or pre-sale to make sure my events are going to be a success. It's really hard to work for this company or to be happy being there even if you have a passion for the brand because there is absolutely no support. At least not for the smaller accounts.
Advice to Management
COMMUNICATION IS KEY! Enthusiasm would be nice in events, in training as well. Everyone is monotone and very serious about Nars, about the look and the guidelines of this company, very disciplined in application and artistry. Which is fine but a little more discipline and organization in the business part of it is essential! That's where the money is. And if the people who are in charge of this company don't care why should the little manager at counter care? Because that's how I felt. Like a little manager who didn't and doesn't matter.
