    I worked at NY Daily News part-time for more than 5 years


    Occasional free lunch, obligatory invite to corporate holiday party , cool supervisors


    Micromanager with little to no education, weekend hours, expectations to work holidays, will be misguided and then made a scapegoat for manager errors. Manager was discriminatory, harassing, etc.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Lead by example if you want results. As a customer-facing department, corporate will eventually take note of your incompetence, and your employees can't be blamed forever. Expect to eventually be held accountable.
