    Stepping stone company, good so start with but get away to greener pastures (literaly) when the offer arises.

    I have been working at Nabors Industries

    Pros

    Its a great company to start your career with as they will eagerly hire under qualified people when they are having problems filling positions. Get your foot in the door with Nabors. Many great people but unfortunately some of the best come and go always leaving the company struggling and burdening the dedicated employees with non stop issues with inexperienced and under qualified personnel.

    Cons

    Pay is no where near par with industry and they let you know just how disposable you are. If your not happy with the pay you must leave the company. Nabors will only address pay issues if its severely hampering operations. The company will never ever reach is goals "TO BE THE NUMBER ONE PREFERED SERVICE PROVIDER IN THE INDUSTRY" and "RIGHT FROM THE START" Nabors has the equipment and the finacials to back those statements, people no. In house training programs offered by Nabors are the laughing stock of the industry. Personal benefits are free however the Family benefits package is so expensive it's not worth it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Nabors needs to identify the key people in there operations that really make a difference and pay them accordingly in order to retain them. Instead they would rather watch them come and go thinking the small amount they save on wages increases the companies earnings, sorry the money lost in poor operations and lost revenue due to errors of the decision makers greatly exceeds the difference of the wages.
