“Okay summer job, doesn't seem like there's room to progress though. I worked in one that was in a Kmart. ”

I worked at Nathan's Famous part-time for less than a yearPros
All co-workers and superiors were friendly, they were more than helpful than helping you learn how to do everything.
Work wasn't hard. Just cooking, cleaning, stocking, and taking orders.
Your rolls were clear, you always knew what you were supposed to be doing.
Training was quick.Cons
Really inconsistent schedule, I would be opening one day and closing the next.
Was very understaffed when I was there, but they were attempting to hire more. It seems like they cycle through employees often.
I worked in one that was in a Kmart and business was very slow, but would have spikes during certain times, management never seemed to schedule for these though, yet would over schedule during the dead hours.
Minimum wage, while this is to be expected, a girl that had been there over a year and was in a higher position was barely making more than me.Advice to ManagementAdvice
