I worked at National Education Association full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

This is a job that has many rewards and many set backs. You have to love working to the goal of helping teachers and support professionals. Great benefits and salary.

    Cons

Not a lot of growth in the company. The position you get is what it is. Lacks training. This is more learn as you go and management needs it now.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to learn how to lead and support staff. There is good balance between work-life balance. It's very stable but after 7 years there was nothing new to learn.
