I have been working at National Endowment for Democracy full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Flexible work schedules. Excellent benefits. People who sincerely care to make a difference in the field. It is a great place to work for those starting their careers in international affairs.

    Cons

Senior management is composed of people who have worked there for over a decade and lack fresh ideas. Personalities often affect the work. Favoratism toward one department leads to low staff morale in all other departments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Professional development is needed for staff at all levels.
