I wouldn't work there again if my life depended on it. All kinds of dysfunctional. If you're not in the 'inner inner circle' forget it. This place which is huge is ran by people who know nothing about running a non profit. Abuse of all kinds is rampant.Also you NEED to be a staunch Republican and it helps if you are a tad to the right of Bush. They had a day of mourning when Obama and their reason for being is to lobby on the hill so you BETTER be on board. This implies you -like everyone else- will be treated like a peon . It is hugely hierarchical and you will be made to feel exactly where on the totem pole you are.There are a few lifers there and it's a typical 'inside the beltway' type business (forget about working from home, if you hadn't inferred the info yet they're stuck in the 18th century) . A horror show which explains the high turnover. Lots of white males 50+...
