I have been working at National Health Service full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

One of the best decision I made IS TO WORK FOR THE NHS . I work in A/E and its busy all the time which I like . The reason I live is to help people who are vulnerable and in need. I have supportive colleagues and equally supportive matrons .

    Cons

Its a shift work which means I have to work 12 hours and 30 minutes continuously which can be tiring , oh and the night shifts too can be very tiring . Most of the time I'm on my feet which means after a long night my whole body aches .

    Advice to Management

Always listen to your workers and give them the chance to fit their work and life schedule . If you don't let your workers choose which day they would work , then you will loose those good workers to agency.
