    I worked at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough

    Pros

    The firm offers a competitive salary

    Cons

    Unfortunately, I witnessed out of control bullying in the paralegal department that was ignored by management and brushed under the rug;

    employees feared retaliation when seeking assistance with bullying;

    complete lack of basic business knowledge by people in leadership positions;

    firm-wide focus on billable hours and collections versus work product;

    many overly arrogant attorneys;

    comical lack of diversity for minorities (very small percentage of minority attorneys, maybe 3-5%, when women are not counted as a minority)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    take a business course or two in a reputable college - law school doesn't adequately prepare a person to be a business leader (obviously)

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
