I have been working at Network Rail full-time (More than 5 years)
Training, Safety, Giving the option to decline working in a dangerous environment. Time off given to those who work shifts to recover.
Important decisions left to people who have never had the experience in that field. To much inconsistency throughout the entire organisation. New reorganisation of terms and conditions not worked, just antagonised work force. Experienced workers don't seem as valued as new apprentice staff.
Advice to Management
Look after experienced workers, once there gone they will not be easy to replace. Be more consistent throughout the entire company in all elements. Carry on good work with safety but also use common sense.
