    Pros

The best things about Neustar are its benefits package and compensation.

    Cons

The company is trying to be something it is not. The company is completely fragmented with no cohesive day to day strategy. The company only survives due to contracts that are now in jeopardy. The company is a constant reorg mode with little to no strategic thought in the reorg. The company has no clue as to how to manage human resources. Employee production is not valued, it is all about who you know. The company is littered with former AOL execs and employees and that is not good.

    Advice to Management

Walk the talk. The company tends to only listen to outside consultants and always playing follow the leaders with little to no innovative thought. Stop hiring VPs and SVPs. It is crazy that a technology companhas more VP/SVPs than actual engineers. Also, a tech company should have some execs that have actually performed in an engineering function at some point in their careers, Neustar has ZERO execs with an engineering background.
