I worked at New River Systems

    Pros

Great compensation, great people. Ability to execute independently with minimal supervision. The benefit package is very commensurate with industry and salary increases/bonuses were fair.

    Cons

Off site development as subcontractor. Management has no knowledge of the expectations or requirements of the position. Very much used as a placeholder for company specific objectives with little regard to individual growth. No training assistance available which wouldn't be bad if the prime didn't change designs with every conference attended.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Become intimately familiar with the technological requirements of the positions you are trying to fill. It does you no good to have someone in a position with expertise in a technology that will not be used.
