    I have been working at NewtGlobal full-time (more than an year)


    They have only a few accounts open but they're noteable in size and recognition. Establishing relationships at these companies can be helpful in the long term.


    Account Managers:
       Beware that they have a huge shortage of account managers, not only because the owners are awful leaders but because they're also deplorable human beings. Their main concern is making money and it is their business so there wouldn't be anything wrong if it wasn't at the expense of their own employees. They will lie and promise anything in order to ensure you join. Once you do, you will be plugged into an "account manager" role where they need resources the most and from there it only gets worse. You will be micromanaged to no end and be told exactly how to do your job. If results pan out, the owners have a special condescending way of taking credit and stripping you of any good work you might have done. If something goes poorly, rest assured the finger will be pointed at you and they will assume no responsibility. Not only will you have Neeta breathing down your neck with a passive aggressive word ready at all times, you will be backed by a similarly frustrating recruiting team. Just remember it's not their fault. The owners make their work just as impossible to complete as they make your job.
       Compensation: One of the things that might keep you considering this company is the compensation. Awful work experience and the promise of riches, the typical golden handcuffs. Rest assured the decision to leave/not work at newt global is still not a difficult one. They will promise things in the form of a "bonus", a percentage of marginal revenue. They will do everything to cheat you out of it by bringing up unclear goals and expectations you should have met in order to keep you ineligible. If all else fails, they will remind you it's a bonus and up to their discretion, not to be treated like a true commission. Beware, these are not honest people.

       Make sure to negotiate, as they like to keep a hefty margin that they're willing to negotiate especially now that their accounts are losing faith in Newts ability to deliver quality workers. Beware that the owners are interested in gathering information from where ever you're working. They will attempt to pick your brain and ask for access to your computer and your passwords. They will pester you endlessly and they have no respect for your time.

    Both Account Managers and Consultants
     The owner's narcissism will make them think that you owe them since they gave you a job. They will ask you to come to the office at ridiculous times, monthly 6:30 am meetings you're required to go to, Sync up calls at 11 pm or any time that works for the boss's schedule. They are the only important people in the company and you revolve around their schedule even if it means working on Saturday, Sunday, 6 am, Midnight, etc.
    Another warning. You're health insurance is through the roof. Most probably because they have people like their parents and children listed as employees. Not only to save themselves on some taxes but the parents have been taking advantage of the medical insurance for all major surgeries and procedures they might need. You will be subsidizing those costs by paying the now ridiculously high premium.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    You have your accounts right now because of the exploiting way you dealt with your previous relationships. Instead of blaming everyone for why your relationships are faltering and why account managers are leaving, it's time to self reflect. Just because you were once a succesfull worker or PM does not make you a decent leader.
