I worked at Nexant as an intern (less than a year)Pros
This was my first job out of grad school and I was working as an engineering intern who was promised a full time job. Most of the people here are friendly and the job itself is not very stressful. The pay was reasonable and from some of my friends who worked there full time, I learned that the benefits were also good.
Depending upon the team you work with, you may be allowed to work from home if the need arises. Typically for the junior engineers, it is desirable for them to come in but some senior engineers work from home quite often (although on paper you are supposed to come in).Cons
I was promised a full time job when I asked for it. But that did not materialize and that was the reason I had to leave. Sometimes, management plays favorites but this depends on the manager you get.
I heard later that they hired a series of interns for the same position with the same promise that was broken in the same way.Advice to ManagementAdvice
