I have been working at Nordstrom Rack part-time (more than 3 years)

Good pay, friendly people to work with, somewhat well managed, great learning experience! Especially if you're a student who want to learn and take what you've learned else where. Teaches you what will work and also what not to do!!!

Store Manager and some managers aren't very friendly and lack communication skills, Confuse employees by saying one thing but meaning something else, employees often treated like robots rather than human being, hire employees who just want a pay check and sometime seems to be very lazy or have no sense of what retail actual is...lack customer service experence, At the location I work at I see a lot of younger people getting royal treatment while older and elderly employees are push back.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need an online site where upper management can hear and learn what's going on in the store and how employees are actually being treated as well as the customers, Management actually need to be trained for lack of communication skills are very confusing and sometime hurtful. Information given to staff can be sometime confusing and misunderstood.
