    Pros

Caring line staff that truly cares about each other and the patients, Can be like a family environment. Staff is compensated well.

    Cons

This hospital is run like a good ol boys network. Management is allowed to do whatever they want including break the law and engage in fraudulent activity. Management also bullies staff. Grievances are not heard fairly and appropriately by the board of directors or the administration. Both rubber stamp administrations activities without questioning. Nepotism is a huge problem if you are the boss' friend or family of the boss' friends accountability is minimal. Many members of management will also base evaluations and expectation on the level of friendship with the manager.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Implement fair employee practices that apply to both management and staff alike. Keep your managers accountable. Implement a policy that prohibits bullying by management and implement consequences if managers bully employees. Fully investigate every grievance fairly. Take some responsibility for your actions, do not blame management failures on "rogue" employees because you refuse to provide adequate training.
