I worked at Northrop Grumman full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Interesting projects to work on. Sense of purpose with each project completed. Laid back atmosphere. Not the typical boys club mentality like many software companies. Decent bonuses for projects completed on or before schedule. Great benefits. For all the frustrations I had, I really liked the company and would work there again.

    Cons

Unbalanced work/home life. Management does not take care of dead weight leaving the employees that get the job done, no matter what it takes, to be frustrated. Lower than average wages for the area, with little opportunity for promotion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Trim the dead weight. These employees hurt the bottom line by causing delays in projects, angry customers, and causing other employees to have to pick up the slack.

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
