I have been working at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research full-time

    Pros

Healthcare benefits and unlimited sick time
    Location is nice

    Cons

Too results driven that project team leaders lose oversight of the mission.
Managers are much too young and upper management is terrible, not open to communication
Too much politics unrelated to actual work skills-personal biases that factor into calibration and year end reviews, defeating the purpose of calibration meetings
Married couples should NOT be working in the same department, much less group, and HR does nothing about it

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want to instill positive work ethics and high morale, reward associates for hardwork
Promotions should be based on merit, not time of service or personal favortism

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
