I have been working at Novo Nordisk Pharmaceutical Industries full-time (More than 8 years)
Management and company is headed in right direction. Every company has ups and downs, but management focuses on employee well-being and engagement, and therefore employees focus on giving back to the company driving productivity and business results. It is a win-win and NNI has the formula right
HQ is very conservative. Still a lot of manual processes and could use more infrastructure and technology enablement. HQ culture is very paternalistic which is good for employees, but sometimes not willing to take risks and is second to market or second or third to introduce new technology. It can be very frustrating, and bureaucratic, when you know something can be done better, faster, and in a more automated way - but it takes months and years to get there.
Advice to Management
Take more risks when in comes to internal infrastructure. Break down bureaucratic barriers. Challenge HQ to move quicker. Prepare the company for the growth in the operations area, not just in sales.
