Very close knit company – feels like an extended family.

The SMT is very close knit which makes it difficult for other leaders to share game changing ideas.
Although the company truly does value and care for their employees, it doesn’t always come across that way. Benefits, including pay, should be more competitive for the environment for which they play. Corporate-wide communication has left much to be desired.
As a whole, the company is overly concerned with the process to which to earn results. Not always the most efficient or effective tactic.
Leaders oftentimes move people into open positions to fill them but don’t always consider the best match for each individual when doing so.

Make an effort to get to know all of your employees better – not just PM level and above. Lean on HR more to assist with corporate communications and a more competitive benefit package for employees.
