    I worked at Old Navy

Overall, if you put your heart into it you will find a better position. Management is there to try and motivate others. That means coaching and mentoring. I enjoyed my overall experience at Old Navy.

It sure can take a very long time to shine and move up into a bigger role.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Shy away from petty busy work just to make yourselves feel better. Stick to simple and powerful. Don't forget to train employees about product. A smart and well trained employee will always offer a more powerful and incredible experience for customers. There's a bunch of knee jerking going on to keep up with other retailers sales and coupons. Take a note from JC Penny.
