Former Employee - Phlebotomy Student Extern in Los Angeles, CA

I worked at Olympia Medical Center as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

I loved the camaraderie in the lab. I felt welcome from day one by most of my coworkers. This hospital is very patient centered and I loved that, too.

    Cons

A couple of the senior members were a little bit condescending at first, but that is to be expected for an extern who is fresh out of school and only scheduled to be there for two weeks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would suggest that the extern students not be paired with the senior members, but more with the younger members that have experience
