I worked at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

    -The work is stimulating.
-Pay is good for an intern.
-Work-life balance is satisfactory for 830am-730pm everyday.

    Cons

-The team is very selfish. If you are not working on the investment with the same manager they will not provide any information.
-No feedback will be given until you leave and are back in school.
-No training is provided, so it is very much a sink or swim concept.
-You will be overloaded with work and if you say anything you will be called "slow"
-No credit of work completed (i.e. if you complete 50 files they will say you completed "a few")
-They do not hire co-ops or interns full-time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

-Give credit where credit is due.
-Provide feedback do not wait until the student is gone.
-Provide proper training, not just "this is what was done last year"
