This company is now operating under a new name: DreamCrafters Architecture & Engineering Services in Gana, Africa to hide their previous identity and reputation. The new company is the same as the old: nothing but smoke & mirrors. No one in the company knows anything about Architecture or Civil Engineering nor does anyone have degrees or Licenses in this field. They changed the name of the company to run from 100's of lawsuits worth tens of thousands of dollars in unpaid wages to employees and to avoid paying other companies for services rendered.
This company is run by a family from Chicago and uses Chicago “Thug” management techniques to bully, intimidate, and terrorize employees. Upper management have “silver” tongues and will tell you anything you want to hear until you are employed by them.
One upper manager thinks he’s the “Godfather” and expects you to kiss his ring. This person is late for every meeting, including his clients because he believes he is above everyone including the law. He surrounds himself with a team of lawyers in order to avoid paying his debts for services rendered: to companies for services, to employees, contractors, SME’s, etc.
This company still have not paid over fifty employees for more than 8 week of labor and has law suits against it. Turns out no one will EVER get their money because the company folded up and started a new business in Gana, Africa. Health benefits were cancelled several times. Paychecks bounced. By issuing “hard checks,” W2 stubs were not issued for more than 6 months resulting in all kinds of claims headaches with the Labor Board.
Worth repeating someone else’s post: The company is "mis-managed" by absentee Upper Management. “No management, no leadership, zero experience, smoke and mirrors” are valid statements. Will retaliate over everything and anything. They are professionals in Hostility. Upper Management never reports to corporate so there is no direction provided, no vision, and no mission. CEO is “hands off” and expects entry-level personnel to figure out everything on their own or risk being fired.
