    I have been working at Ovations Food Services full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Was once a good place to work. Lower level employees a joy to work with.

    Cons

    Everything, extremely poor management, Management has absolutely now idea how to run bars, current management bias toward all employees, Extreme over staffing to the point employees tip income has dropped by 70%. Bar employees have nothing to do but stare at each other for 8 hours because of over staffing. Managements comments towards employee complaints that they can no longer pay their bills due to over staffing is; "WE DON'T CARE IF YOU DON'T MAKE ANY MONEY, IT'S ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT ABOUT YOU MAKING MONEY" . WHY DO THEY THINK PEOPLE HAVE JOBS IF IT IS NOT ABOUT MAKING MONEY? Customers complain that it's like walking on to a used car lot where the salesmen all attack you. Constant game playing and attempts to destroy your self esteem with constant write -ups. Management spy's on you everywhere looking for a reason to write you up. Unsafe work environment for employees and customers. No regard for OSHA regulations, or Health department regs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Remove all upper management and replace them with managers that have training from this century. Get rid of the greedy sweat shop mentality. Get back to valuing your employees with fair treatment and a healthy work environment. Drop current managements salary by 70 % to see if they complain, and if they do then tell them it's not about them, it's about customer service.
